The site went down and we lost 10 days of data

We really don't have much to say, but if we do, we'll say it here.

Now that's a smackdown, D. Scott!

Right on, Pete! Thanks for re-posting that link for me. I gotta save that one this time. It's the first recording of the anthem I've gotten, believe it or not. :-)

Mr.Scott, You rule, your dedication and professionalism is very evident in everything you do for the DMB. Thank you for giving a damn, so many unpro folks out there, it's refreshing to see you work. Peace.

ROFLMFAO!

Thanks for the kind words, people. Tech support responded and as usual, they're saying a lot but they aren't showing me anything. They're making excuses and they aren't doing anything about it. Big surprise. When I give them the next earful I'll post it here as well.

I'm on to creating a solution for this, so hopefully we'll get this shit figured out soon enough.

Ok - I got the backup cron job set up. The database is backed up nightly at 2:15 AM. Let's hope that I won't have to ever use 'em. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I confirmed that both the nightly and the weekly backups are working, so we should be in ship shape!
